Had an amazing time! The scenery was breathtaking, perfect for lazy walks, and the room was cozy enough to nap in after breakfast. Truly an escape where we could recharge and enjoy nature together.
Did I mention the neighbors had a loud family jam session? Not quite the soothing ambiance I expected!

A Hidden Gem for Relaxation
Our stay was nothing short of spectacular! From the soothing ambiance to the idyllic gardens, every corner invited tranquility. Patti’s delicious huckleberry pancakes were a highlight, and chatting with the llamas became a cherished memory. Arrive in daylight for an easier drive through the stunning landscapes!

Secluded location right by the river, perfect for escaping the hustle. The Effie room, with its country decor and antique charm, felt cozy and inviting, making it easy to unwind after a long day. Gorgeous views of the Clark Fork River from the dining room, where I enjoyed breakfast while watching deer grazing outside.
Getting to this place after dark is quite the ordeal. Lack of clear signage makes it challenging for newcomers, and those infrequent railway crossings can slow down your arrival. The mosquito situation can be bothersome before mid-July, so pack some repellent if you’re prone to bites.

Had an awesome time with friends! We went hiking and fishing, then relaxed by the fire at the ranch. The outdoor space is stunning, and Sam makes a mean breakfast! Highly recommend horse riding nearby, too. Can't wait for our next trip!
Patti was absent during our stay, which was a bummer since we wanted to meet both hosts together.

Just an optimal selection for a swift stopover in Thompson Falls with decent value for money. Relaxing on the deck while enjoying the peace and quiet was a real highlight. Make sure to arrive during daylight hours to get a better feel for the area.

Perfect for Family Adventures
We had such a wonderful time staying at the ranch. The amazing setting. I remember sitting by the river, just soaking in the view after a long day of hiking. And oh, the breakfasts! Every morning, Patti whipped up something different and delicious, it just, you know? Being able to connect with the other guests and share stories over breakfast was a nice personal touch.
It wasn't exactly wallet-friendly. but, I gotta say, it was still worth every penny.
